The aim of the science workshops is to fill in the gaps in student’s learning. As an experienced tutor, I have noticed the large gaps in student’s knowledge. This is far more than I have ever seen and I believe that it is down to all the lockdowns. It is nobody’s fault, because I know that everyone has done their best. I want to help you overcome these gaps by offering these science workshops.
Science Workshop Content
Each science revision workshop will cover a specific topic. I will give a brief recap of the subject matter and then we will work through some exam style questions. The student will receive the questions prior to the workshop, so they can print them off prior to the workshop.
If something happens and the student cannot attend the lesson for whatever reason, you can apply for a refund upto 24 hours before the workshop. For a full refund it must be at least 48 hours. Equally, if you don’t cancel you will still receive the questions, plus a post workshop recording. In fact, everyone will automatically receive a recording of the workshop.
Workshop Structure
The courses are for any A level or GCSE student. There will be a maximum of 10 attendees at any workshop . The science workshops will be no more than 1 hour long, but time will be allowed for questions on the topic covered. The cost will be just £10 per attendee.
The cost of the science revision workshop includes:
- practice questions
- the one hour workshop
- the way to correctly answer the set questions
- a question and answer session
Post-workshop
- video copy of the workshop (everyone’s camera will be turned off for safeguarding reasons)
- correct answers to the pre-set questions
Safeguarding

Before the workshop, I require that a responsible adult sign up and pay for the student. All payments are by card, so reducing the chances of the student signing themselves up. The adults will also be sent the links to the workshop, so they know when they are happening.
During the workshop, all microphones and videos will be off until the discussion section. Chat will not be activated either. The workshop is also recorded.
